Living in the city, I am saddened by the absence of the my view of the wonders that inhabit the night sky. I consider the constellations to be old friends, having grown up in a place where I could meet their acquaintance at dusk each night. Alas, I often daydream about those dark nights and when I do I pull up this incredible map of the Earth as seen at night by the satellites snapping photos overhead in the exosphere. I imagine taking a trip deep into this Amazon so I can peer overheard and see the Milky Way once again.
